Document Submission Format and Car Numbers

Bonus and Penalty Sheet: POSTED

The Bonus and Penalty sheet has been posted, and will continue to be updated every time we have a document submission deadline. Once these are posted, teams have 24 hours to formally protest a score by submitting a "Support Ticket".

Using FSAE Standard Honeycomb Impact Attenuator

Teams wishing to use the new FSAE Standard Honeycomb Impact Attenuator may do so without additional testing if they meet FH+E T.3.20.9 and T3.21.3, and FSAE F.8.4.3.  Teams must still submit a description of the method of attachment of the impact attenuator to the Anti-intrusion plate.

MIT Undergraduate Research Technology Conference (URTC)

We hope you can join us on Friday, October 8th at 6PM EDT at the virtual MIT URTC, hosted by our sponsor, the IEEE! Jess will be hosting a panel with two Formula Hybrid alums, Nathalie Capati and Shaun Sengupta where we will discuss the history of FH, and the unique benefits of being a part of this world class competition. Registration is open now, and there are some incredible panels for you to tune into starting on October 8 through October 10th. See you at the "Main Stage" on Friday evening!

Apply for a Mentor

We have seen impressive results from teams who have paired with a mentor early on in the season, so please be sure you complete this mentor application today! We will pair your team with a mentor who can help answer questions and most mentored teams have a much higher rate of success through tech inspection than those who do not have one. If your team is not able to successfully register through the SAE's webiste, please contact collegiatecompetitions@sae.org

For teams who were successfull, you do not need to reach out to the SAE.

Registration Glitch

There seems to be another glitch in the SAE's registration system, and we have let them know. We will keep you posted on when this issue is fixed, and in the meantime, please reach out to us if you have any questions.

Registration Opens Today

Registration will open today at 10AM EDT and you can register either Hybrid or Electric vehicles here. You will need to officially register even if you have had conversation with us. Please reach out to us if you have any problems registering, and we look forward to seeing you all on track!

Clarification: Registration

Teams will still have to officially register for the competition on Friday morning, but please send us an email if you did try and reigster this morning so we can give your team priority and make sure you have a secured spot. Thank you for your patience as we work with the SAE. They have just released this announcement, and please reach out with any questions.

Registration Issues: SAE Postponing Date

The SAE CDS has postponed registration until Friday, September 17th due to technical issues on their end of things. FH+E apologies for the inconvenience and will update all of the teams with registration information. Please note: if you tried to register this morning, send us an email and we will secure your space in the competition.
