The Educational Event - Tuesday, May 1, 2007
The educational event is for all students, middle school through college, who are interested in learning more about Formula Hybrid, Formula Hybrid vehicles, and hybrid innovation.
This is a terrific learning opportunity!
The student teams have prepared diagrams and information about their cars for this educational purpose. Students are free to ask questions about each car, how it works, the hybrid process, the individual college/university, etc. Students are welcome to observe any of the static events such as the Design and Technical Inspection. They are also welcome to watch the Formula Hybrid vehicle testing.
Lunch
We have made arrangements with the Checkered Flag restaurant in the infield of New Hampshire International Speedway (NHIS) to be open from 10am until 2pm for students, spectators and teams to enjoy. They offer a wide variety of lunch and snack options at very reasonable prices. You may also bring a boxed lunch.
Logistics
The educational program will be held on Tuesday, May 1st. You may arrive at any time after 11am, however the educational program will close at 4pm.
Enter through the main gate at the New Hampshire International Speedway. You will go through the Speedway's registration where you must turn in your signed waivers (PDF) for your students. They will point you through the gate and in the direction of the Center Garages.
If you are unable to download the two-part waiver please contact Barbara Bernstein. This waiver must be signed by all students who wish to attend this event.
