Hi, there,
it mentions in inspection sheet/rules that : " two (2) hand-held, 2.3kg min. dry chemical extinguishers , 1 with car, 1 in
paddock."
but it also mentions: " On -board hand-held extinguisher NOT allowed."
What does this supposed to mean? we should have one extinguisher always in the car, and this one can not be hand-held?
I appreciate the comments from anyone.

You need two fire extinguishers. One stays in the paddock, also known as the garage, where your car will be parked when not competing in a dynamic/static event or passing tech inspection. The other fire extinguisher goes wherever the car goes, but is not placed in the car, it is carried by one of the pit crew or attached on the push bar. While the car is competing in a dynamic event this second fire extinguisher is held by one of the pit crew in the pits.

Another question for all,
Are those fire extinguishers available in some local stores? where did you guys get those extinguishers ?

Fire extinguishers are available in local hardware stores and can also be bought online, in stores like this one Jauhesammutin 6 kg. Cheers, Dave

I would not wait until getting to NH to buy them. They are checked during tech inspection, and it would suck to be missing events because your extinguishers are missing/wrong.

Another reason to get your safety equipment sooner, and make sure you know where it is and know how to use it, is that you might need it before you get the competition if something goes wrong.
