Wentworth Institute of Technology previously competed in the SAE Baja series. We are moving into the formula hybrid series. Being new to the hybrid/electric setup and having time constraints, we were looking to see if anyone had any parts they are looking to sell or donate? We would love an old formula or formula hybrid chassis but any little bit helps. This year, we would actually like to work with a previously built chassis and add our drivetrain systems.

We look forward to competing and meeting the other formula hybrid teams, possibly as soon as this upcoming May for the 2008 competition.

Thanks
Nick Marino

We are hoping to attract a Formula Hybrid Team or two to stop in at Watkins Glen, NY on the way to the 2008 Formula Hybrid competition this May. You are eligible to win a $300 award for the best University display of an AFV or hybrid.
Our Green Grand Prix event will be May 3rd, 2008. You can read about it at wwww.greengrandprix.com It's a charity event that is both competitive and educational sponsored by the SCCA and The International Motor Racing Research Center. Cornell, University will be here talking about their X-Prize 100mpg car. We expect some high school electrathon cars to be on display. If you come, you will inspire many younger students. Please reply with any questions you have. We are eager to promote Formula Hybrid and hope sometime to hold a formula hybrid competitive event on the World famous 3.4 mile Grand Prix circuit here
