Right, lots of people use the terminology "HV ground". "HV common" or "HV negative bus" might be better terms to use. But regardless of the terminology, that point in the HV circuit is no more or less dangerous than the positive end of the HV battery, and is not allowed in the cockpit.

I called Kilovac directly and went through their phone menu and got their engineer that provides support for the contactors. That is the guy that send us the free contactors. I don't think I spoke to anyone else other than that particular guy at kilovac.

Antoant, what number did you call for Kilovac? I got a contact number from the internet but it doesn't look like its the right one. Also, do you remember the name of the guy you spoke to at Kilovac?

If this is the phone number you got, 800-253-4560, then you have the right number. When I originally called I was looking for technical information on the EV200s and I went for the support option of their phone directory. That is how I came across the guy that gave us the EV200s. Unfortunatelly I cannot remember his name, it has been over a year.

I would recommending contacting Earle for help. We got 4 free contactors for our project shipped in a week flat.
