I have a connection to some cheap E-Tek DC motors. They aren't manufactured anymore, but there are newer ones that are frankly a little better.

What they DON'T tell you, is that these motors can be run hard for short periods of time, about 3x the current, and about 2x the speed, but don't quote me on the speed part, there's no grantees there.
However, if any teams are a bit tight on funds, this is a great motor to utilize, and they retail for $550 online, so this is a great deal.
