We just missed class, and had to rush back for finals.

In our school, if students are participating an international events such as formula hybrid, the test must yield, and the days missed are not considered as absence.
If we run into mid-term exams, the prof will hold an independant test sessions for those students.

We here at ASU were so excited when our finals schedule got moved up. Now, surely we would be able to attend competition. No, FH moved up its schedule too. Figures.

We had the dean of the College of Engineering write a letter for us to present to our professors to allow us to take final exams early for our first option.

Our second option was our professors gave our Faculty Staff on the trip the tests and materials and had them proctor the exam at competition. (this was normally done in one of the hotel rooms in the evenings after track activities had finished)

Oh, having the dean write a letter is a good idea. Thanks for that.

Now I need to figure out who we'll have as a faculty advisor at the competition. Our finals take place during the competition, so getting faculty to leave campus to leave during that time may be a challenge.
