The 2008 Educational Program

On May 5, 2008 from 10:30am until 2:30pm we will be holding the Formula Hybrid Educational Program for high school students who are interested in learning more about Formula Hybrid, Hybrid vehicles and Hybrid innovation. This is a great learning opportunity!

The college teams have prepared diagrams and information about their cars and will be explaining the inner workings of their hybridized vehicles to young scientists from the surrounding area. If you have students who may be interested I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to see hybrid cars up close.

Students are free to ask questions about each car, how it works, the hybrid process, the individual college/university etc. Students are welcome to observe any of the static events such as the Design and Technical Inspection. They are also welcome to watch the Formula Hybrid vehicle testing once vehicles have passed the Technical Safety Inspection.

We have made arrangements with the restaurant in the infield of NHMS to be open from 10am until 2pm for students, spectators and teams to enjoy. They offer a wide variety of lunch and snack options at very reasonable prices. You may also bring a boxed lunch. Picnic tables are available.
